To mod makers:

I am starting to come into my own a little on scripting finally, and perusing the amazing work you guys have done has helped a TON. However, one of the things I can't even begin to get a grasp on is how you are moving around "profiled" groups. I assume that they continue on their merry ways to whatever their next objective is, perhaps they can even get new waypoints assigned while profiled... I'm trying to do something similar, and was hoping you could just nudge me in the right direction... From a top level view, how in the hell did you manage this feature?
