I've setup a simple ALiVE mission. When I test it in SP, the virtual AI system debug shows that groups are receiving orders as soon as the mission begins, and they start moving around the map. On my dedicated server, no orders are given (no crosses appear on the map) and the virtualized groups don't move. The MACC still gives orders to air assets - when this happens, the air asset spawns (becomes unvirtualized) and doesn't move. I have replicated this issue with only the ALiVE mod activated.
If anyone knows how to help me, I would appreciate it.
That's very helpful, thank you!
Hi,
I like to design asymmetric missions, but I'm facing a problem: Eventually, the insurgent OPCOMs recruit enough extra units that my performance decreases a lot. Is there some kind of hard cap I can put on the number of groups an OPCOM is allowed to have? I'm specifically talking about virtualised units - not the Active Limiter.
Thanks for your help.
Aha. Of all the things for me to have gotten wrong. Thank you for responding so quickly, anyways.
I'm having one difficulty with this - whenever I die, the screen turns black and it says "Respawning...", but then I just see the single player death screen. I have both init.sqf and description.ext in the mission folder. My init.sqf is empty, and my description.ext contains respawn = "SIDE" and then respawndelay = 3. I watched a youtube video in which this was correct. I also watched your video above, and have set up my insertion markers and multispawn module exactly as you have. What could I possibly be doing wrong? Thank you for your help, and please keep the "oh he's a retard" to a minimum, because I know.
