NSLookup looks fine, but you can't ping db.alivemod.com.
There's either something on your end blocking db.alivemod.com , or db.alivemod.com is blocking you.
It's just that simple.
The plugin will not follow an http redirect so that will not work. You might have better luck with a transparent proxy. Google it.
Then your assumption is correct and the provider is most likely blocking this outgoing TCP port on their firewall. It's not uncommon.
What does the first line in the plugin-log say ? I'd like to know the complete version number.
Your plugin version is wrong.
The first line in the log will indicate version and you want it to be 'v2.0a-9a98f0e'.
Download the latest one here: http://alivemod.com/downloads/@aliveserver.zip
The plugin shouldn't be lowercase.
If you did that, then you'll loose persistence as it won't be able to load the plugin.
Hence the problem vanishes because it'll never load.
The plugin is trying to write to a folder called @aliveserver located in the same folder as arma3server executable.
If you rename your folder called @AliveServer to @aliveserver, your problems are gone.
Remember to update your startscript as well.
Please post your rpt and aliveplugin logs.
Hmm.. Did you use the latest plugin I sent you ?
I can't seem to find the error code I put in there.
I'll re-compile and send it to you again when I get home in a few hours.
Seems to be a bug when parsing your command line.
-config=#ops-1-server.cfg
Could you try removing ' - ' from the filename and try again ?
Get the latest aliveplugin from WarRoom and try again.

Let me know how it goes.
