Duh....when I put the @aliveserver folder on the dedicated... only the folder copied over, not the files. Works just fine with the files in place.

What am I missing?... not showing up in War Room stats. I've done this before, successfully. Not this time.

@HeroesandvillainsOS We are discussing making some new showcases here soon that don't require mods. The ones available now are old, sadly.

Any news to share on showcase missions refresher?

    A few Q's...

    1. What exactly is the trick to placing the module such that it will auto populate hangars and such? I'm hit or miss in this regard.
    2. If a selection of aircraft are near the module and are appropriately virtualized, shouldn't the module use them (like the demo)? I use 3Den to place a selection of "empty" aircraft with A2A and A2G loadouts and sometimes it works and sometimes not (no aircraft available).
    3. Is there any way to respawn those aircraft if destroyed? Adding a respawn to them seems to goop things up.

If by tasks you mean the autogenerated kind, not a problem except as noted below.

We have run ALiVE on Malden since the update and it mostly works. I have seen some issues where things are...

    1. Spawned within the terrain (stuck in rocks, I have to Zeus them into the open)
    2. Spawned in such a manner that they are all piled up in a terrain depression as indicated above.

One oddity, tonight... we had an eliminate the infantry mission. The infantry targets were in the same spot that a bunch of OPFOR helo's were dropping vehicles, about 1000m from our position. I didn't have eyes directly on but one of the choppers appeared to have resolved the mission for us by dropping the vehicle being carried directly on the squad, thus eliminating them and the mission popped up as a success for us.

... is your mission available for download?

Quite confused that when I filter on mission name "ALIVE" (because that is really the only thing to filter on to find ALIVE missions that I know of), the only server I see is the one I run.

Yes Malden runs bonkers well but I have an issue with mission placements. Maybe this is just an unfortunate fact of the trials and tribulations of map indexing, but I find some target locations are literally sinkholes full of objects. Malden has some great terrain relief but that presents a problem when a bunch of spawned objects appear in a pile at the bottom of a ravine. Is there something I can set in my filtering that will prevent this from happening?

Is there a page with general use instructions?

AU's mission and Tupolov's description just don't add up to really good understanding for me.

No criticism here, please don't take it that way, just a curiosity about the footprint of alive. The mod does not contain assets, at least any that I am aware of aside from the tablet, yet it weighs in at 195MB which means there has to be aloooot of scripting in there. How many lines of code did it take to get ALiVE where it is, today.

Thanks, but honestly I don't have the scripting chops to figure out where this goes.
