1. I think I will get an infantry kill to register if I kill my own side, which is blufor

2. When my Comanche was shot down and I crashed, I was piloting and I had an ai in the gunner seat. We both died miserably, but I got credit an infantry kill with my ebr?

3. I haven't seen it in other missions, but do I need to define sides in my mission files? Will that help?

4. I have tried to understand what the staticdata.sqf does but Ive failed to understand. Is it in that file that I need to specify sides? Or do I do that in my description.ext

5. In the logs, there is a line that says something about opf_93 dying or something when a human player dies. I'm sure it is all related somehow.

Check out the ALiVE wiki and under the OPCOM page, you'll find the following instruction...

"...Additionally, advanced editors can place a location gamelogic of any type on the map and sync it to the OPCOM module(s). Optionally put in init field of the gamelogic:

this setvariable ["size",150]; this setvariable ["priority", 500];

This worked for me.

In the mission editor, under place unit, put down a gamelogic, select "location", then put the above line in activation window. You can change 150 to whatever size you choose. You can change 500 to set the OPCOM priority where 999 is highest, 1 is lowest.

Dont forget to sync the gamelogic to your OPCOM or OPCOMs assuming you want the OPFOR virtual general to know about it.

I'm providing additional information that may useful assuming you have the time to help me. Because the War Room can see my server and it tracks vehicle kills and also considering that I didn't have a problem with stat tracking prior to leaving my group and starting a new one, I decided to dive into the arma2net logs. I found the following...

1. When things were working, the logs report 26 lines
2. Today, the logs report 27 lines
3. The difference is the following line...

Also found errors in the midst of my logs around the time i starting having problems (03 October 2014, but I assume those errors are related to the StartALiVE function I again assume was added as part of 0.80. I'm not seeing any "StartALiVE" errors now, so the only thing that I can think of is I'm somehow not reporting or the War Room is somehow not receiving the correct Arma2NET information linking us up.

According to Arma2NET, the following information is sent...

1. SendxRTML: No idea what this is...game data (e.g. kills)?
2. GetBulkJSON: No idea, game data (e.g. kills)?
3. Send JSON: ??
4. ServerLocation: Dallas
5. ServerAddress: 216.245.206.218

9. ServerName: War Room says this is supposed to be what appears in the MP list. If Arma2net aligns with the War Room, this should be "ArmA 3 Heaven - WHITELIST ONLY".
10. ServerHostName: War Room says this is supposed to be what "hostname" returns in the command prompt and if so, this is "DefaultServer". Note the Arma2NET log says differently and says that this is what appears in the MP list. Is this the problem?

You can use C21STAR to "generate" a mission and choose the enemy faction to be attacking your desired objective. You can have ALiVE generate the objective for you by choosing near, medium, far distance or you can select a spot on the map.

Hope this helps in some way. NOTE the split from old configuration to new occurs on 12 OCT 2014. Couldn't find anything myself. Does it have anything to do with my old configuration data still being persistent in the database or something? I also noticed that the UUID is the same for both the old configuration and the new one. Not sure if that means anything either...

Unfortunatley, still not registering infantry kills. I verified that the config file that the war room provided is what I have in my server appsdata/local/alive folder. Also replaced the Arma2net folder with a fresh folder that i just downloaded.

I've been able to work around some of these pesky issues and I've successfuly reintegrated back into the War Room. However, our kills are being registered. Vehicle kills do, but no infantry kills are registering. In reviewing the mission through the War Room, i can see where we are getting in and out of vehicles so i know the War Room sees us, but its not registering our kills...

Any advice?
