War room crash on client connected

I'm running Windows 7 and every time when the game begins to start the server halts. The results are the same if I'm using vanilla Arma dedicated server or with mods.

    • Warroom server points to the correct static IP address
    • I have the C++ redist installed on the server
    • I copied the alive.cfg file to the root of my Arma 3 directory folder
    • There is no alive.log file to be found anywhere on the computer, it's not in the root mod folder, root arma folder, and searching the entire drive retrieves nothing.
    • There are no errors reported from the RPT file, the last lines are simply:

I'm downloading a debugger now to see if maybe I miss symbols or other dependencies, but the other thread was unsolved. Has anybody had a similar problem that has been able to solve it?

After the last message, the VC Runtime error pops up.

  3. @aliveserver requires a specific version of the C++ redist, you can get it from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8328 .

  4. To be sure I downloaded and installed it again but the problem persists.

  5. Hmm did you try redownloading @aliveserver? Perhaps it's corrupt. All it really needs is the C++ redist as far as I know.

  6. If I was missing the dependencies that I would see that pretty quickly in my debugger. Regardless, I'm going to reinstall the operating system fresh, including dependencies, and see if the upgraded version changes anything.
